Hello!

So in October I made my first AliExpress order and in November I started receiving the packages.

I was already prepared for the packages to arrive quite late because China is far and not in EU and so on.

Makeup brushes here. 

If you compare the product picture and what I got then you might notice that my set is a bit different, but it's not that big of a problem. 
The brushes are really nice and soft and in my opinion good quality as well. I mostly use the bigger powder brushes, concealer brush, eyeshadow brush and the eyebrow comb.

For some reason I was scared they were powder based, but they're not. They're creamy. I haven't really used the darker contouring ones, but one day I shall master them!
But I have used the lighter ones as a concealer and it hides blemishes way better than any other concealer stick.

Blush siit.

The colour is really pretty, the packaging is cute and I was pleasantly surprised that the blush flips up and under it is a tiny mirror and a brush. The only problem I have with it is that it's way too shimmery so it's not the best for daily use, but for a night out it might be good.

Matte lipgloss here and lipstick here.

The lipgloss is waterproof, matte and in the colour 33. I kind of regret the colour as it is really really dark. It covers very well and is indeed matte, but that also makes it very dry on the lips.

The lipstick is a fake MAC Russian Red. It smells kind of waxy and weird, but it's really nice and creamy on the lips. I'd say it's even kind of hydrating. And the colour is just divine and perfect.

This is a duplicate of Urban Decay's Naked 3. It caught my attention with it's pinkish tones. I am very very pleased with this because the eyeshadows are very pigmented and there's so many pretty tones that mix together so well. 

In conclusion I am very pleased with my purchases and the quality isn't that bad at all. But you do have to be patient if you're ordering to EU. Getting the packages one by one does make it feel like Christmas every few days.

A few weeks back I had a bit of a cold and I decided to share my tips for conquering a cold.

1. Tea and honey

Tea is very useful and the hotness gets the blood going. I mostly opt for a camomile tea or sometimes peppermint. In Estonia very popular for a cold are melissa, lime blossom and blackgurrant tea.
It also helps to eat honey, but as I don't really like the taste, I just put it in tea when it isn't boiling hot anymore because that's when you get the most out of it.

2. Garlic

Although it isn't the best smelling, it is unquestionably effective. Apparently it is a natural antibiotic, prevents cancer and cardio vascular disease and so on.

As my mum always buys local Estonian garlic then that is super strong and I can't really eat it sliced up on a sandwich, so I make some bruchetta with tomatos and basil(sometimes I do opt for dried herbs like parsley or oregano). It's really good on a toeasted slice of ciabatta or even regular toasted bread.
Another idea is to mix the garlic into a mixture of grated cheese and some mayonnaise. Now that melting on a toast is heavenly.

3. Propolis and calendula throat spray

This might very well be an Estonian only thing. It's a tincture of propolis and calendula and you spray it to the back of your throat when it aches. I have an absolute hate-love relationship with this. The taste is absolutely awful and can truly bring tears into eyes, but it works like magic. When I have to get my throat back to normal fast I spray it like five times a day and the next day it'll feel fine. It is super medicine and 100% natural.

4. Water!

Water is so so so important and it's kind of scary how many people over look it and don't drink enough. When being sick it is especially important to hydrate because the water will clean your system and make the illness pass so much faster.

Yesterday was the firs advent so Christmas season as officialy begun, although to be honest I have been listening to Christmas songs non-stop for a few weeks now. Hehe..

In my opinion one of the best things this time of the year is to make a good big cup of tea and just relax, while listening to Christmas music of course. That is one of the reason why I wanted to share my favourite teas.

This is ou families tea drawer and lets just say that this isn't even it's final form and we're not British. In the colder months to come it will most likely see quite a few additions.

To be honest I am a big fan of green tea. I can't really drink coffee in the mornings because lately I had a very bad case of caffein intolerance so instead I have opted for green tea which is also energizing. Not only that, but it's also high in anti oxidants, good for digestion, helps lose weight and so on.

Although I do like pure green tea I have discovered some great flavoured green teas. One of them is this Lipton's raspberry and pomegranate green tea. A tiny spoonful of sugar brings forth the details and you can really taste the raspberry. The taste isn't bitter either, though it tends to be with some green teas, but that is also avoided by the right brewing time.

The second green tea which has been a avourite of mine for quite some time is the Gurman's Geisha. This has a variety of flower petals mixed into the green tea so it looks splendidly colorful and tastes wonderul.

When making green tea don't use boiling water, but about 70-80 degrees celsius water and brewing time should be about 2-3 minutes. That way you can get the most good out of your tea.

Rooibos tea has been a  classic for me and I keep going back for it. My favourite is the Loyd Tea rooibos with orange and cinnamon. You can't really taste the two latter toe honest. Also a great one is Greenfield's Creamy Rooibos.

Teekanne's Sweet Kiss is a very sweet one so it might not be for everyone, but I really like the combination of strawberry and cherry. Also Teekanne is a great brand as each tea bag is in its separate package that is foiled on the inside and so the aroma is very strong when you take it out.

Can't leave unmentioned an actual christmas tea, namely Greenfield's Christmas Mystery. It tastes like gingerbread and elves and all of Christmas in one cup. All said.

In conclusion you could say that I'm a bit of a teaholic or secretly British. You can't blame me though. Tea has many good properties, it tastes wonderful and it's warm.
