Avon #1 & #2

Hey!

Some and my mum have gotten a chance to order from Avon. It's exciting because my mum used to be consultant herself when I was little and so we know exactly how good the products are. Also the prices are ridiculously good.

By now I've got 2 orders to tell you about.

1st order

I must admit I got really excited already and maybe a little carried away, although I didn't even order everything I wanted, but my mum assured me that those things are most likely to reappear in the next catalogues as well.

First of all I ordered the Clearskin blemish clearing tinted moisturiser and self-foaming mousse cleanser. I can't remember the exact price, but as a bundle they were a bit over 5€. Both have salicylic acid in them that prevents pimples. Both work really well for me. The tinted moisturiser has a Goode enough coverage for me and the mousse is so easy to use for a quick face wash in the evening.

I also got the calming effects liquid concealer. It is indeed very liquid so blending it is a hassle. Also when it dries it goes kind of orange, although I got the lighter of the two tones.

Avon Glow bronzing pearls was something I was really excited about. For some time I had thought about purchasing a bronzer so this catalogue came at the right time. It's really easy to apply with a brush and the finish isn't too shimmery so it's very good for light contouring and giving the face some definition. The only annoying thing was that the foam sponge that goes on top of the pearls had a very chemical smell to it at first. It's gone now but at first it was quite startling.

Ultra Color lipstick in Berry Bright caught my attention right away. It was a limited edition Women's Day product. It's more of a redish pink. The coverage is perfect with just one coat and it's amazingly hydrating. It's super creamy and pigmented and it's gotten me excited to try other colours from the series.

2nd order

This was only two products which were the ones I didn't get the last time.

IAdvance Techniques Supreme Oils hairspray was something I was a bit hesitant about as I usually am a hair serum girl. Serums are thicker and give me better control of how to apply it in my hair. It's actually not that bad and I haven't had a problem with my hair being too oily so that's great. It makes my hair nicely silky and the smell is amazing.

Avon Care Cocoa butter rich cream has become such a favourite. First of all it smells so good. Secondly it's a 400ml jar for only 3.50€ which is such a great bargain. It is super hydrating and I've ended up usingnit every day for at least moisturising my hands if not my whole body. As it's a universal cream you could use it as a face moisturiser as well, but I have a thing about keeping my body moisturiser separate from the face ones.

Let me know if you've ordered from Avon and what you thought?
