Hello!
Today I wish to share with you the joy of my new "baby".
Today I wish to share with you the joy of my new "baby".
Namely the Nikon D3200 with the added Tamron 18-200 mm lens.
I'll be honest I'm an absolute noob when it comes to DSLR's, but as this one was recommended for beginners it seemed perfect. So now I'm testing it out and we had a first good photoshoot with Victoria on Friday.
The specifications show that it's a good value with its 24,2 megapixels and full HD (1080p, 25fps) video recording, which means that not only will I have nicer pictures in my blog, but I'll be able to make videos at one moment as well.
It's very comfortable in the hand and the body alone use quite light. The buttons are nicely arranged and the quick menu is easily navigated. I do sometimes have problems with understanding it when it won't take a picture and there's nothing said on the screen like that the object is too dark or something.
At first I used the same lens I have now but Victoria's. It was so nice and versatile that I got the same one. There's lots of addons to one day buy like a flash, an extra battery, a microphone and so on.
I am so over the moon about my new camera because you can truly see the difference between the pictures. People are indeed right when they say that you can get addicted to photography. I can feel it.
I do believe that in the future I will resize all my picture for putting on the blog, because 6016 x 4000 is great, but each picture is over 10MB and uploading takes quite a bit of time.
It's also interesting how I have automatically started to notice so many details that could be good for a picture. Right away I notice pretty birds, interesting trees and bright little spring flowers.
